Hi de hi campers! Welcome to this eclectic little blog that I’ve had in some form or another since about 2004. Born in Australia’s tropical north but raised in the green hillscapes of New Zealand, with occasional forays to my other motherland in France, my life and travels have taken me from the antipodes to Europe, the UK, and back again to settle in the far south of Tasmania where I see many of the places I’ve called home reflected back at me. I’ve lived a life with a brain full of everything that’s going on, from art to science to politics to music to cutting edge funny cat videos, but my main passions are about sustainability, waste, supply chains, gardening and environmental protection. I still keep tabs on funny cat videos though.
Although this started out in a different time and place, these days I work in communications – writing and developing content on a range of topics in the environment and agriculture space. When I’m not doing that, I’m generally hanging with a couple of dogs and growing vegetables in my little country garden. Sometimes I write about that as well. Or about what I’m reading, or where I’ve been, or what’s cooking in the kitchen, or how to live frugally and well. Every now and then I try and have a bash at writing blog posts consistently but to be honest, it’s not my strong point.
If you want to drop me a line, you could try using this form below, assuming I didn’t mess it up it might even work
